Tyler and I spent almost 4 days in the hospital. Since the delivery was scheduled my mom was able to be there with me for the entire time so Adam could work and help Grandma Ann take care of Deven. I was amazed how well I recovered from the surgery, it was so much better than the first time. I attribute that to knowing in advance that I would have a c-section so I was able to get a spinal block instead of the epidural I had with Deven's delivery. The proper pain medication made such a huge difference.
We took our time getting ready to go home the day we were released and finally got ready to walk out the door at about 6 pm. That gave us plenty of time to take pictures and give Deven some final rides on the "escabator".
