It is so exciting to start out a new year and to feel like there is a clean slate just waiting to be filled. One of my plans for the new year was to start a blog. I don't always have time to post responses on various websites where we attempt to keep up with friends and family but I am also not very diligent about keeping a journal or scrapbooking. I'm hoping this blog will be a good way to accomplish all three tasks. However I do understand that it is only as good as the time I commit to it so we'll have to see how this goes.
Our focus right now is on keeping everyone healthy and staying on top of the snow that accumulates endlessly. Deven keeps us on our toes with his silly expressions, adorable sentence formation and the occasional temper tantrum. Shopping trips going forward will not be as peaceful as once before and the need to have snacks on hand at all times is more evident after each meltdown. Despite that, we sure do feel lucky.
